I am exhibiting new work alongside Festivo Design at Tincal Lab Gallery in Porto, Portugal from 21 September to 12 November 2024.

Festivo Design and I, were the winners of the Public Award as part of the Tincal Lab Challenge 2023 Jewelry and Travel, and we were invited to present our work at Tincal Lab Gallery as part of the prize.

My pieces are a continuation of my ‘Soft Rocks’ body of work - based on brush making research, finding ways to creatively use a found colour, but now looking toward colour in nature for inspiration. Via this new work, I explore new ways of using reclaimed sewing thread when developing new work for my joint exhibition with @festivodedign @tincallab.

I was happy to visit Porto for the opening as part of the Simultaneous Openings day at Miguel Bombarda on 21 September, to Ana Pina the Gallery owner and also to meet fellow prize winners Festivo Design.
